Gifts for witchy friends
Are you looking for ideas for gifts for witchy friends? Look no further. Here are ten gift ideas for your favorite witch or spooky babe. I’ve tried to include things at a range of price points so that you can get something that doesn’t break the bank.
Fairy Bone Feathers art
This North Carolina independent artist uses ethically sourced bones to create art that incorporates other aspects of nature; moss, crystals, bugs, and more. There’s a huge range of prices, from this $35 bone throwing set to animal skull wall hangings that go for over $100. I personally received an art piece made of possum ribs, amethyst, dried flowers, and moss as a gift that I treasure and hangs over my desk in my office.
The Wild Unknown Alchemy Oracle Deck
A friend gifted me this stunning oracle deck, and it may be my favorite oracle deck of all time. You don’t have to know much about alchemy to get started, because the deck comes with a gorgeous 224 page illustrated guide book that will tell you everything you need to know. It comes complete with card interpretations, tips for further exploration, and spreads that will help you get started.
Crystal mystery box
Crystals are always great gifts for witchy friends! Instead of picking out a specific stone for your loved one, you could get them a crystal mystery box and let the universe decide for you. This etsy store has a wide range of price options, from a $10 mini box to a “HUGE” box priced at $40.
Witchy jewelry from Blessed Be Magick
If you have a little more wiggle room in your budget, you could pick out a stunning piece of jewelry from Blessed Be Magick, a company that makes modern, minimalist witchy jewelry. I myself wear my four elements ring every single day. If this is too pricey for you, don’t forget to check the sale section or look for a coupon code (that’s how I shop from them!)
Radical Tarot book
If your witchy friend is a reader, look no further than Radical Tarot by Charlie Claire Burgess. It’s the perfect addition to any magical library. Tarot so often deals in binaries, and the author shows practitioners how to break away from these constrictions and queer the cards in a way that reflects history but also brings tarot into the modern age.
Our Crooked Hearts
This YA book is spooky, well-crafted, and deliciously magical. Following two generations of women who are exploring the dangerous world of witchcraft, Our Crooked Hearts by Melissa Albert is a compelling read for witches and non-witches alike. I don’t want to spoil anything, but it takes a look at what happens when magical practice goes wrong. It’s a beautiful story that your loved one is sure to enjoy.
Intention candles
Here’s a perfect gift for witchy friends who are trying to manifest something. These beautiful, colorful pillar candles have a wide range of intentions printed on them. Anything from money to love to house blessings are available from House of Intention (and you can check and see if the site has anything else your witchy friend might like!)
East Fork Bitty Bowl
It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with North Carolina brand East Fork Pottery; any of my friends can tell you that. The bitty bowl is a tiny little vessel that I use for soy sauce on sushi night, but it’s also perfect for altars and spell work. I have one bitty bowl set aside that I only use for magical purposes; it’s currently holding water on my elemental altar, but I’ve also loaded it up with herbs and salt to cast prosperity spells.
Crane incense holder
At less than $10, this origami crane incense holder is a great gift option. I’ve linked the pink one (gotta stay on brand) but this site has a variety of options that you can choose from. If you want to step it up a notch, you can add a set of incense sticks that you think your witchy friend might like; I like to shop at my local metaphysical store, but Amazon also has a wide range of options.
Witch baseball cap
This black witch baseball cap is perfect for your friend who’s proudly out of the broom closet. Modern witches don’t wear pointy hats anymore, we wear baseball caps, and this one is very cute, with white embroidered lettering. Happy gifting!
